Beckwith retains offices at Pearl House, Cardiff

John Beckwith has scotched rumours that the tallest building in Cardiff, the 13,006 sq m (140,000 sq ft) Pearl House, would be converted for hotel use.

Instead he has appointed DTZ Debenham Thorpe and Fletcher Morgan as joint letting agents on the 23-storey office block. Chesterton has been retained as managing agent on the property.

Beckwith’s Portfolio Holdings, which bought the tower last month, is considering a refurbishment programme and looking to let the half of the building that is vacant.
