The first EG Tech Awards had it all: an appropriately midsummer-themed marquee drinks reception, a packed-out room for the ceremony, and the second half of the World Cup semi-final on the big screens to accompany the post awards networking.
Judges were inundated with entries and nominations for every category of the inaugural awards – designed to bring the tech and property worlds together to celebrate each side of the proptech portmanteau in equal measure.

The evening was testament to just how seriously the real estate sector now takes digital transformation.
Hosted by LJ Rich, NASA “datanaught” and presenter of the BBC’s technology show Click, the evening was all about championing those who are taking risks, making a difference and paving the way for a more tech-enabled future.
Our winners took centre stage as we recognised brilliance, rewarded innovation and raised a well-earned glass to the industry’s finest, from start-up investors and tech gurus to the real estate professionals at the forefront of technological progression.
Each of the night’s worthy winners will automatically be put forward for another first – the brand new Tech Award at this year’s EG Awards in September.
