Nile Niami, a film producer cum developer, is looking at an asking price of $500m for his current project, a compound in the Los Angeles suburb of Bel Air that will not be ready for another 20 months.
The compound will comprise four homes, the largest of which will be 74,000 sq ft. Also included in the plans are garaging for 26 cars, a casino, and a 5,000 sq ft main bedroom.
The asking price would be more than double the record price for a home – $221m was paid for a penthouse in London in 2011.
