Bellway expands in Thames Valley

Bellway has established a new division covering the Thames Valley region.

The division, which is headquartered at Pacific House in Reading, Berkshire, is led by managing director Steven Brown.

Bellway plans to launch King’s Mead, a major development in the heart of Reading town centre, in spring 2015. The scheme at Kenavon Drive will comprise 192 homes, ranging from one- and two-bedroom flats to two-, three- and four- bedroom houses.

The group also has a number of other developments across the region, including Mile Field in Leavesden, Foundry Court in Wokingham, Canalside in Thatcham and Beechdown Place in Basingstoke.

Brown said: “Bellway’s expansion into the Thames Valley reflects the high demand for new homes in the housing market, and this new division marks a significant investment from one of the largest housebuilders in the country.

“We are absolutely thrilled that we now have a permanent home in Reading, the centre of the Thames Valley region.”
