Northern Irish developer Benmore is expected to be granted planning consent next week for a £30m mixed-use scheme in Speke, south Liverpool.
Benmore subsidiary Towerbeg is seeking detailed consent for a cinema, 78-bedroom hotel and 18 commercial units on land adjacent to the New Mersey Retail Park.
It is also seeking outline consent for two additional hotels, of 120 and 78 bedrooms, at the same site.
The scheme had been previously recommended for approval but the decision deferred.
