Bericote has submitted a planning application to build two sheds totalling circa 400,000 sq ft for luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce in Sussex.
The £70m project would take place on the Oldlands Farm in Bognor Regis – a 40-acre site previously rejected as a plot for a business park.
Planning documents submitted to Arun district council said work could start in October, with up to 1,058 jobs created on the site.
Quod prepared the plans.
CBRE have been managing Rolls-Royce’s search for new premises. The manufacturer also occupies around 500,000 sq ft at Goodwood nearby.
