Tony Pidgley’s Berkeley Group has bought St Joseph’s, a Grade II listed former college in Mill Hill, NW7.
The group acquired the site off a £25m guide price. The vendor, which is thought to be a London developer, secured planning permission last year for in excess of 80,000 sq ft, comprising 49 private flats.
Cardinal Vaughan founded the Mill Hill Missionary Society in 1866 and set up St Joseph’s College at Mill Hill in 1869.
Tom Scaife, associate at Knight Frank, which acted for the London developer, said: “The sale of this iconic listed development opportunity shows the demand for high quality sites in good residential locations within North London.”
Berkeley was not represented.
