Berkeley Homes has gained consent for a further 364 homes within the first phase of its giant Woodberry Down regeneration scheme in Hackney, N4.
The Rolfe Judd and Hawkins Brown-designed plans for two sites – Kick Start Sites Four and Five – will deliver a range of affordable and open market housing with commercial units provided at ground floor.
The two schemes are within the parameters of the masterplan for the first phase, where over 1300 homes are already permitted or built.
Rolfe Judd Planning is advising on planning.
Berkeley Homes in partnership with Hackney council is planning over 4,600 homes, shops, business uses, community centres and a health centre at Woodberry Down.
The scheme will include a series of civic spaces, public parks and landscaping, while improved cycle and pedestrian routes will be provided both within Woodberry Down and connecting it to the neighbouring communities.
