Berkeley’s plans for a 30-storey residential tower in Portsmouth have been rejected by the council.
The scheme, the latest phase of Berkeley’s Gunwharf Quays development, would have 471 homes, 25% of which would have been affordable housing.
Conservative councillor Alistair Thompson said the developer had not consulted local residents enough or talked to councillors about the proposals.
