Real estate law specialist Goodwin Procter has appointed MacFarlanes’ Catriona Berman as a partner in its real estate capital markets team.
Berman, a senior solicitor in MacFarlanes’ real estate team, has also worked with Slaughter & May in its London office.
During her career, Berman has been involved in acquisitions, asset management agreements and estate management, among other legal areas.
Goodwin Procter’s team, headed by Joe Conder, was adviser on Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management’s sale of Tower Place, EC3, to Ping An for £327m and the acquisition by Kennedy Wilson Europe of 111 Buckingham Palace Road, SW1, from Kish Holdings for £204m.
