Bernard Shaw pub latest Dublin venue to close

Bodytonic, the group behind the popular Richmond Street pub and cultural venue, announced yesterday that “after a 13-year adventure” and “with heavy hearts” it would close at the end of October.
An Bord Pleanála refused permission for the pub’s beer garden to continue operating earlier this year, despite more than 25,000 people signing a petition to keep it open.
