The Berners-Allsopp Estate has been granted consent to redevelop 41-44 Berners Street, W1.
The project, designed by Buckley Gray Yeoman, has been rebranded 42 Berners Street.
It will comprise a seven-storey mixed-use scheme, including 22,000 sq ft of offices and 5,300 sq ft of shops and restaurants.
Demolition is scheduled to begin in the summer, with completion due in early 2017.
The development will be the first the estate has taken on this cycle, and is timed to capitalise on Crossrail.
