Berrys consolidates in Northampton

Chartered surveying group Berrys has closed its offices in Towcester and relocated its staff to its offices in Northampton to improve its client service.

Staff from both offices will now work from the Northampton premises at York Road and will continue to offer commercial and residential valuations and surveys, commercial agency and specialist charities property work. Berrys’ head office at Kettering continues unchanged.

The Northampton office will be headed by Duncan Scott, a member of Berrys’ management board, who joined the firm in December 2009 with the acquisition of the Towcester-based survey and valuation practice C & S Surveyors LLP, which he ran with Jonathan Carpenter.

“We wanted to consolidate the two offices and it made sense to base ourselves in the centre of the county in the county town, at least for the present time, with the possibility of moving to other premises if necessary in the future,” said Scott.

Berrys also has offices in Shropshire and Cheshire.
