Better Bathrooms has signed for a new 18,217 sq ft showroom in Romford, Greater London.
The retailer has signed a 10-year lease with landlord Burney (Hornchurch) for the former SCS retail warehouse at Gallows Corner.
It will be the company’s first outlet in the South East and the ninth showroom in the Better Bathrooms’ portfolio alongside shops in Slough, Leicester, York, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, a northern trade counter in Leigh and a southern trade counter in Didcot.
The search for new retail sites continues, with the company looking to secure properties from 15,000 to 20,000 sq ft over a maximum of two floors in highly visible, easily accessible, non-prime retail locations throughout the UK.
Joe Assalone, partner at Robert Pinkus & Co, which acted for acted for Better Bathrooms, said: “Better Bathrooms looked at various sites in the locality but this particular property came out on top for its high customer footfall and strong brand names already trading successfully at this location, overall visibility, parking and accessibility for customers.”
