Bexley approves 224 homes for Erith Park

Planning-generic-THUMB.jpegPlanning permission has been granted for 244 new homes at Erith Park, Bexley, subject to Greater London Authority and legal approval.

This is the second of two phases on the site and will deliver 49 homes for private sale, 58 for shared ownership and 137 for affordable rent.

The scheme also includes a new community centre, a nursery and new public realm space.

The London Borough of Bexley, Wates Living Space and Broadway Malyan are working in partnership with Orbit on the project, which is expected to be completed by summer 2017.

Martin Bates, director, Broadway Malyan, said: “This is the latest milestone in the delivery of a truly transformational project that will change lives and make a significant contribution to the Mayor’s vision for new housing in the capital.”
