Bidwells has hired operational living expert Iain Murray and his former Cortland Consult team.
The move is a significant step towards capitalising on the growing operational living market, positioning Bidwells in the multidisciplinary advisory space within the living sector and harnessing cross-selling and capital markets opportunities.
Murray was previously managing director of LIV Group, chief executive and owner of Principal Digital and director of PRS at Criterion Capital.
At Cortland, Murray held the role of senior director of BTR consultancy for Europe at Cortland Consult. At Bidwells, he will be head of operational living.
The acquisition fully integrates Murray’s client portfolio and team into Bidwells’ newly established operational living department.

Murray’s appointment is expected to drive growth and innovation in the business, while enhancing Bidwells’ standing in the operational living market by offering clients an end-to-end consultancy experience.
