Bidwells once again secured top position in the Radius Data Exchange Cambridge league table. The firm disposed of 390,855 sq ft in 54 deals in 2018-2019, up from 48 deals in 2017-2018.
The top deal for Bidwells was at Eastbrook House on Shaftesbury Road, where 51,098 sq ft was taken by AstraZeneca UK, according to Radius Data Exchange.
The average deal size in the market increased by 51% from last year, reaching 6,853 sq ft. The total amount of space transacted in the past year was 801,127 sq ft, an increase from the 2017-2018 figure, which was 594,392 sq ft. Overall take-up rose by 35% year-on-year.
New entries included Juniper Real Estate, Cushman & Wakefield and Mullucks Wells & Associates.
