DATA: The UK’s biggest cities are losing out as people flock to the suburbs according to a report into net migration.
The figures, which will please home counties and south west residential developers, show that Essex, Kent, Devon, East and West Sussex registered the highest rates of net migration, with nearly 32,000 more people moving in compared to out in 2014.
Nearly a third of people moving to those areas are from London according to GoCompare, based on data from ONS Internal Migration series.
