The biggest names in British gambling – Rank, Ladbroke, Stakis and London Clubs are scrambling to win 13 new gambling licences proposed by Home Secretary Michael Howard.
The licences are in Morecambe, Peterborough, Gloucester, Oxford, Croydon, Ipswich, Redbridge, Slough, Hastings, Folkestone, Weymouth and Swindon.
