Big Yellow Group has opened another two self-storage sheds since the end of March, in Tunbridge Wells and East Finchley, taking it to 39.
It reported an almost threefold rise in pretax profit from £42.8m to £118.5m on turnover up 25% to £41.9m. Adjusted NAV per share rose 55% to 297p.
It bought 10 freehold sites during the year and another three since the year end. The shares closed up 12.5p at 415p.
