Profits at the U.K.’s 10 biggest builders look set to reach £2.1 billion this year, a rise of 34% on the year, an analysis of reported and projected profit figures compiled by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism shows.
The rise comes despite the companies failing to reach targets for affordable homes, set out by local governments.
