In what is being hailed as the largest office deal in Swansea since 1990, Admiral Insurance has taken 2,012 sq m (21,667 sq ft) on three floors in Alexander House, High Street, Swansea, for its telesales operation.
The insurance company is paying £43 per sq m (£4 per sq ft) for a 10-year lease with a rent review and a break clause in the fifth year. The occupiers plan to carry out a major refurbishment of the building, which has stood vacant for two years.
Weatherall Green & Smith – which says this is the biggest office deal the city has witnessed in six years – and Poolman Harlow acted as letting agents for the joint Receivers of Sidecard Ltd, the building’s previous owner.
