Bilfinger GVA names regional office heads

Bilfinger-GVA-logoBilfinger GVA has appointed a trio of regional senior directors to lead its offices in Leeds, Newcastle and Glasgow.

The agency has appointed Ben Hall, Roger Speirs and Alasdair Ramsay to run the Leeds, Newcastle and Glasgow offices respectively. Each will assume his new role this week.

Bilfinger GVA chief executive Rob Bould said: “We have a strong critical mass in each of these locations, but with these key appointments, not only are we shepherding in a new generation of exceptional talent, but we can now look to further expand our capabilities above and beyond what we already offer our clients both nationally and locally.”

Hall takes over from Paul Manning to run the 65-strong Yorkshire office in Leeds, which has doubled in size in less than five years.

He will retain his role as head of investment in the region while Manning will focus on advising clients on business rates.

Speirs becomes regional senior director of the 45-strong Newcastle office. He will retain his role as director of valuation consultancy. He takes over from Mike Cuthbertson, who will continue to focus on land and development.

In Glasgow Ramsay takes over from Eric Forgie as regional senior director for the 60-strong Glasgow office.
He joined GVA in September from Deloitte Real Estate.
