The disused Red Lion pub in Mayfair transformed into a multi-million pound mansion has been bought by the new owner of Leyton Orient football club.
Italian billionaire Francesco Becchetti has bought Red Lion House for £20m from Central Investment Properties, the development firm run by father and daughter duo Lewis and Emma Davis.
The 9,500 sq ft mansion, marketted through agent Wetheralls, comprises five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, an indoor swimming pool, gym, cinema and roof top terrace.
It was put up for sale with a circa £25m price tag in in November last year.
The pub closed in 2009.
Becchetti, one of the wealthiest men in Italy having made his fortune through the Becchetti Energy Group, bought the League One Leyton Orient from Barry Hearn earlier this month.
