BioMed Realty has appointed William Clarke, a director in Savills’ Cambridge team, to lead the leasing of its 120-acre Granta Park.
Clarke joins the firm after more than a decade at Savills, where he has advised on R&D, laboratory and life science space for clients including M&G, Wrenbridge, Aviva, Royal London and the Crown Estate.
A spokesman for Blackstone-backed BioMed said: “William brings with him an enviable track record of experience that will prove critical as we look to cement our position as one of the UK’s leading developers and operators of life sciences and innovation real estate.
“William will be covering leasing efforts for our UK market with a focus on Cambridge. He will be joining in early 2023.”
James Evans, head of national office agency at Savills, said: “William has been a valued member of the team for a number of years. He has been instrumental in building a best-in-class business space offer in Cambridge and life science service line across the golden triangle of Cambridge, London and Oxford, which continues to go from strength to strength under the leadership of Tom Mellows, head of Savills Science. We wish him the best of luck with the next stage of his career.”
