Blackstone-backed BioMed Realty has signed the first prelet for its 100,000 sq ft One Granta lab and office development in Cambridge.
Biotech company T-Therapeutics will expand its presence at the developer’s 120-acre Granta Park campus by taking 25,000 sq ft at One Granta, as well as a further 4,607 sq ft at Abington Hall.
The T-cell specialist already occupies a suite at 3 Riverside, which is also on the campus.
Founded last year, T-Therapeutics is venture-backed and seeking to expand by building facilities, recruiting staff, and establishing its research operations, according to its website.
Works on the One Granta development are expected to complete in Q3 next year.
Granta Park, which comprises 21 buildings totalling 1.3m sq ft, is home to major life sciences players including AstraZeneca, Sosei Heptares, Illumina, Pfizer and PPD.
