Birmingham’s Southside Business Improvement District has announced its board of directors and BID manager ahead of its official launch on Friday.
The organisation has appointed the following directors to the board – Paul Garry from the Gallan Group; Charles Gillett from Pennycuick Collins; Joanne Salmon from London and Cambridge Properties; Christopher Pike from Radisson Blu; Wei Du of Ming Moon; Lawrence Barton from the Loft Lounge; Thomas Lawes of the Electric Cinema; Andy Webb from Legal & General; and Sara Hickin from British Association of Social Workers
The board will be chaired by Stuart Griffiths, chief executive of Birmingham Hippodrome.
Three other three stakeholder directors have also been appointed – councillor Timothy Huxtable and councillor Steve Bedser, both representing Birmingham city council, and chief superintendent Chris Mckeogh. representing West Midlands Police.
BID chairman Stuart Griffiths, said: “Southside offers something really exciting and different for people living, working and visiting the city centre and we look forward to working collaboratively to promote and enhance the existing offer.”
