A report by Deloitte, the Birmingham crane survey, shows office construction in Birmingham is growing at the fastest rate in 13 years, and that hotel, leisure and retail developments have also increased.
Some 969,000 sq ft of office space was under construction in 2015. Hotel construction was well above its 10-year average, and construction of student accommodation was also taking place.
