Birmingham’s Arena Central moves forward

Birmingham’s £400m, 2m sq ft Arena Central mixed-use scheme is progressing. Arena Central Developments – the joint venture between Miller and Andy Ruhan’s Bridgehouse Capital – has this week obtained five 250-year leases from the city council for the 7.6-acre site. On Wednesday, Isle of Man-based Dandara also submitted a detailed planning application for the 50-storey Eric Kuhne-designed V Building, which will be Birmingham’s tallest building.
