Henderson Global Investors is marketing the first floor of its building at 55 Bishopsgate, EC2 to offers in excess of £646 per sq m (£60 per sq ft).
The 1,858 sq m (20,000 sq ft) floor in the Fitzroy Robinson-designed building went on the market last week. It was previously occupied by the Long Term Credit Bank of Japan and has since undergone extensive refurbishment. The rent confirms the strength of the City market and demonstrates that £60 per sq ft is rapidly becoming the benchmark for good-quality space in the City.
