The West of England has reacted angrily to the government’s rejection of British Aerospace’s plans to build a commercial airport, at Filton, north Bristol. Now the Confederation of British Industry has published a report, “Fulfilling our Potential”, calling for an agreed regional economic strategy and co-operation across geographical boundaries.
