Black Tap Burgers signs at Landsec’s Piccadilly Lights

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer has signed a deal with Landsec to open a flagship restaurant at London’s Piccadilly Lights, W1, its second location in the capital.

The US burger chain has signed for 5,000 sq ft at Piccadilly Lights and the restaurant will open early next year.

In September, Black Tap signed a deal with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield to open its first UK restaurant at Westfield Stratford City. That restaurant is expected to open before the end of this year.

Founded in 2015, Black Tap opened its first branch as a small 15-cover venue in New York’s SoHo neighbourhood and today has 24 sites in total worldwide.

Gillingham Bell International Real Estate acted for Black Tap; Savills and Bruce Gillingham Pollard acted for Landsec.
