BlackRock boss Larry Fink has said the Labour Party offers “a real measurement of hope”.
But a BlackRock spokesperson said this was not “an endorsement of any political party” from the chair and CEO of the world’s largest asset manager.
Fink also criticised the failure of the UK to allow pension funds to invest in long-term assets, which he said was damaging the UK economy because companies could not get the finance they needed to expand and be successful.
