Blacks Leisure is facing a problem finding space for expansion, according to the Investment Column of The Independent.
It plans 35 store openings this year, with 30 in the First Sport concept and the rest to be Blacks Leisure. It says it will be able to maintain growth as the market polarises among the larger players.
Blacks has reported a 35% increase in full-year profits to £13.6m, on a 5% rise in like-for-like sales.
