Blackstone has sold office block Rue Villiot in the eastern part of central Paris to Amundi Real Estate for around €350m (£311m).
The 250,000 sq ft office building was originally acquired by Blackstone in September 2014 as part of its strategy to acquire assets in the strongest office submarkets of Paris.
Rue Villiot, the former Kodak Headquarters, is situated in front of Gare de Lyon, Paris’ third largest train station.
Anthony Myers, Blackstone’s head of real estate Europe, said: “The successful sale of Rue Villiot is testament to our strategy of acquiring high quality, well-located investments, embarking on a full-scope refurbishment programme and repositioning the asset as an attractive opportunity for the tenants. Blackstone continues to experience strong leasing momentum across its Paris Office portfolio, with high demand from tenants seeking prime locations.”
