Blackstone has completed a deal to let 60,000 sq ft at 20 Old Bailey, EC4, to law firm Withers.
The law firm will establish its new UK headquarters at the 240,000 sq ft office building, as tipped by EG in April.
The firm will occupy offices on levels ground, three and four of the building, and will join Barings, which agreed to take 113,000 sq ft last year.
Blackstone is completing a major renovation of the building, which includes a new façade, structural alterations, internal remodelling, and the addition of two further floors.
The building’s redesign has been led by Buckley Grey Yeoman.
Ed Hodgson, UK leasing director for Blackstone Property Management, said: “Our extensive investment and major refurbishments continue to deliver the highest quality workspace across London, inspiring occupiers and, ultimately, securing major leases. 20 Old Bailey is a classic illustration of this strategy, underlining the trend that, despite the uncertain political and economic climate, there remains a flight to quality and an appetite for premium office space from a broad range of occupier sectors.”
BNP Paribas Real Estate and CBRE are the joint leasing agents for Blackstone; Savills acted for Withers.
