A former director at LaSalle Investment Management is rejoining the firm to head up its debt and special situations team after five years at Blackstone.
Michael Zerda is returning to LaSalle after a stint as Blackstone’s head of Europe in its real estate debt strategies division. Before joining Blackstone he had spent more than six years at LaSalle as a director in special situations.
Zerda’s return comes as Amy Klein Aznar, LsSalle’s head of debt and special situations, steps up to become executive chair of the division. The pair worked together between 2009 and 2016 to build the business.
