Andrew Dowler, managing director of external relations at Blackstone, is to leave the private equity firm at the end of the year.
He is joining Greenbrook Communications as a partner, where he will focus on managing reputations for alternative investment firms, including private equity, hedge funds, activists, credit and real assets.
Dowler joined Blackstone in 2013 from Finsbury to head its public relations and government affairs function in Europe. He has worked on numerous high-profile mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and private equity deals.
