Blackstone spends €100m in Dublin

blackstone-logo-THUMB.jpegBlackstone Real Estate Partners Europe IV has bought Microsoft’s European HQ in Dublin for around €100m (£79m).

The HQ was sold by a group of high-net-worth Irish investors led by Pat Gunne.

Part of the Atrium buildings, the HQ comprises two office buildings totalling 346,000 sq ft in Dublin’s south suburbs.

Ken Caplan, head of European real estate at Blackstone, said: “This is a further investment by us in greater Dublin and underlines our commitment to Ireland and the strengthening of its economy.”

CBRE Ireland advised the buyer; JLL acted for the vendor.
