Funding has been secured for the first development Bliss Hotels is delivering as part of its plans to launch several schemes across the UK.
The company has £15m to refurbish the 133-bedroom Ramada Plaza hotel in Southport, which is located in the 250,000 sq ft Waterfront leisure resort.
SPF Private Clients brokered the deal and secured the funding through asset manager IGC Longbow.
The team behind cinema chain Everyman Cinemas will launch the hotel, which the company expects to be the first of a series of UK hotels.
Bliss Hotel and Everyman Cinemas co-founder Daniel Broch said: “Creating anything from scratch is hugely inspiring and challenging: we are aiming high.”
