BL’s Maddison leaves for Quadrant Estates

John-Maddison-THUMB.jpegBritish Land’s head of retail warehouse asset management, John Maddison, is leaving to join Quadrant Estates as a partner.

Maddison will be working alongside founding partners Christopher Daniel and Tristram Gethin to expand the firm’s 1.15m sq ft retail park portfolio.

At British Land, Maddison managed the firm’s portfolio of retail parks and shopping parks. Before that he was senior asset manager for the Hercules Unit Trust.

He has also worked at Henderson Global Investors, and has held roles at Savills and Hillier Parker, where he worked as an out-of-town specialist for 15 years.

Christopher Daniel, founding partner, Quadrant Estates, said: “John is a highly experienced professional who will help take us to the next stage of our business plan in the fast-changing retail park sector. He has a solid track record in delivering meaningful strategic asset management, development and investment outcomes, as well as being a well-known figure in the industry.”
