Blue Marble Asset Management has appointed Edward Jones as investment director to spearhead the firm’s drive for new clients.
Jones joins the firm from Gerald Eve where he was consultant head of investment. He has nearly 20 years’ experience as a senior investment agent at companies including Lambert Smith Hampton, BNP Paribas and CBRE, as well as running his own investment business.
He will work closely with chief executive Tim Matthews to identify and acquire new clients and will also advise on new opportunities for purchase and on disposals of assets, as part of the firm’s strategy to maximise value and returns on commercial property investments.
Matthews said: “Ed’s appointment is the next stage in Blue Marble’s growth strategy which started last September with the recruitment of Tim Suffield as a business development consultant.”
Blue Marble was founded by Matthews in 2011 and has offices in Birmingham and Worcester. It currently has more than £60m of property assets under management.
