Developer Bluemantle has been granted outline consent for a mixed-use scheme on a 30-acre site in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.
The locally based developer plans to build 231 homes, plus commercial space, including offices, industrial units, a hotel, a restaurant, plus a convenience store and community facilities.
The scheme will be built on the site of a former Fisons pharmaceutical factory, which has been vacant for six years.
Simon Isherwood, director of Bluemantle, said: “The plans will enhance and compliment the strong community of Holmes Chapel and will deliver significant investment over the coming years. Approval of these plans ensures Bluemantle can realise its full potential, bringing new investment as well as generating employment opportunities and much-needed new housing for Holmes Chapel and the surrounding areas.”
HOW Planning advised Bluemantle on planning.
