Blueprint reveals Derby Cathedral Quarter plans

            Blueprint has lodged plans for the first phase of a £16m mixed-use development in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter.   The proposals comprise 24 flats and some shops and leisure units on Bold Lane.   A second phase proposes a new public space, Sadler Square, and 40,000 sq ft of offices.    Blueprint is a public-private sector partnership, formed by EMDA, English Partnerships and Morley Fund Management’s Igloo fund.   The first phase is scheduled for completion in summer 2009.   HalsteadIan@aol.com
