Bluewater general manager Andrew Parkinson is leaving his post to become Liverpool Football Club’s first operations director.
Lend Lease, which asset manages the retail and leisure scheme on behalf of investors, is considering both internal and external candidates to replace Parkinson.
Parkinson has been general manager of Bluewater since 2007, having originally joined Bluewater in 2003 as retail business manager.
Mark Boor, head of asset management at Lend Lease, said: “Andrew has been part of a very successful team and he has helped to deliver great success at Bluewater, and I am certain that he will achieve the same at Liverpool Football Club.”
