Bluewater shopping centre has reported its sixth consecutive month of sales growth, following an increase of 4.2% in July against the same period last year. Bluewater’s results out-performed those of BRC-KPMG, which recorded a 2.6% increase nationally in July compared to 2009. High-profile launches in the personal electricals sector and ‘big ticket’ electrical items, such as televisions, proved popular at Bluewater and the good weather led to strong sales of summer fashion, barbecues and garden furniture.
