Retailer B&M is to expand its distribution facilities at Onyx 350 on Logicor’s Manor Park in Runcorn, Cheshire, after agreeing a new 10-year lease.
Plans have been submitted to increase the warehouse space from 343,312 sq ft to 455,000 sq ft and add 11 new loading docks, two additional level-access doors, 32 HGV parking spaces and extend the service yard to the north and east.
Works are expected to start in the third quarter of 2022, and a new 10-year lease will commence following completion of the works in the first half of 2023.
Tom Blakely, director of UK asset management at Logicor, said: “As part of the new development, we will also upgrade their existing warehouse to provide LED lighting throughout, for the benefit of staff and the environment, and delivering a BREEAM-certified asset.”
