BMC Software has taken a 10-year lease for a new head office at SEGRO’s IQ Winnersh near Reading.
The IT company has now completed a deal to take 36,425 sq ft at the E2 office building.
Quoting rents at the 49,000 sq ft property, which completed in February, are around £26.50 per sq ft
Kate Dean, customer development director for SEGRO, said: “We took the decision to refurbish E2 on a speculative basis last year. This letting to BMC, so soon after the refurbishment has been completed, demonstrates that there is demand for high-quality office developments within the Thames Valley.”
Jones Lang LaSalle and Lambert Smith Hampton acted for the landlord; DTZ advised the tenant.
