BMW has confirmed its commitment to its Rover plant at Longbridge, Birmingham.
Joachim Milberg, chairman, told BMW’s annual general meeting, the company was determined to press ahead with the rescue of Rover and he confirmed that detailed negotiations with the British government over the £150m aid package were continuing.
