BMW plans to assemble Rolls-Royce cars at a new purpose-built factory near Goodwood, in West Sussex.
The company will invest £100m in the site.
BMW chose Goodwood above locations in Derby, the M40 corridor and its existing plant at Cowley, near Oxford.
